Capes Dunn is a British auction house based in Manchester.

 

About the company

Capes Dunn was founded in the reign of King George V in 1826 and has been based in Manchester city centre since then and has a long and illustrious heritage as being the premier auction house in Greater Manchester. Having moved its premises over the years it is currently situated on Charles Street.

In adition to fortnightly Chattel Auction sales and regular specialist auctions in a wide variety of categories, the company also offers a valuation service for the purposes of probate and insurance.
