Black Horse Ranch

Black Horse Ranch is an equine museum located in California, United States. It is also a seller of Breyer and Peter Stone model horses, as well as its own line of limited edition resin models.

In addition to its main website, the Ranch also sells models from its collection on eBay.

Breeding horses

The main focus of the Black Horse Ranch is to produce contemporary Appaloosas for the show ring. “We breed horses with outstanding conformation, temperament, and athletic ability,” says its website.

Model Horse Museum

Over 7,000 model horses are in the Black Horse Ranch Collection of Karen Grimm – and growing. Many date back to previous decades, such as the 1960s.

Production of horse miniatures

In addition to breeding and selling horses, the Ranch produces memorabilia in the form of horse models, under the following categories:
