Bart Simpson is a cartoon character from The Simpsons, created by Matt Groening.

Voiced by Nancy Cartwright, Bart is a 10-year-old child who is often perceived as a troublemaker. A good boy at heart, Bart Simpson often fails to show this due to his constant implementation of bad ideas which get him into trouble on a regular basis.

Bart only son of Marge and Homer Simpson, and the brother of Lisa and Maggie Simpson.

Bart’s catchphrases include “Aye Carumba”, “Eat my shorts” and “cowabunga”.

Many pieces of artwork from the making of The Simpsons have been sold at auction.
