Antique Magazine Racks
Antique Magazine Racks are a type of stand which are used to organize magazines, newspapers or other types of publications.
Antique magazine racks can come in a variety of different styles (such as floor or free-standing, wall-mounted or rotating), and can be made from a variety of different materials such as iron, wood, brass, bamboo and much more.Brief history and description
Antique magazine racks are typically hand-crafted and tend to feature unique designs or carvings, (such as a rustic, Victorian or Black Forest-style décor). Depending on their size and design, magazine racks can be quite durable and stable.
Guide for collectors
Hanging or rotating magazine racks are considered to be more rare, but not necessarily the most valuable. Antique magazine racks that feature wheels or unique carvings or décor are considered to be both rare and valuable.
Restoration of an antique magazine rack is recommended, but only if there is noticeable damage. However, restoring an antique magazine rack may decrease its value.
