Antique figurine lamps
Antique figurine lamps are lamps which use a ceramic figurine as their base. The widespread use of electric lamps in homes began during the early years of the 20th century, but the oldest examples of figurine lamps often converted earlier 19th century figurines into lamp bases. There are a wide variety of figurine lamps available, and they are manufactured in different styles around the world. Some of the most popular original examples are those from the 1920s and 30s, with Art Deco or Art Nouveau styling, along with models made by notable figurine manufactuers such as Royal Doulton.
