Antique Brambach Baby Grand Pianos are original musical instruments produced by the Brambach Piano Company.
Brief history and description
The Brambach Piano Company was established in 1823 and was one of the largest and earliest piano manufacturing companies during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Throughout its history the factory produced a variety of different pianos using the Brambach name, but also crafted pianos for other American piano manufacturers such as Mathushek and Kohler & Campbell.
The Brambach Piano Company stopped manufacturing pianos in 1957.
Guide for collectors
Brambach Baby Grand Pianos featuring unique or decorative colours and designs are considered to be the most valuable and rare among collectors. Although many collectors make a hobby out of restoring antique pianos, some technicians do not recommend restoring antique Brambach Baby Grand Pianos, especially due to the fact that some parts are incredibly difficult to find.

Hart Galleries in Houston, Texas sold a green lacquered Brambach Baby Grand Piano featuring a floral decoration (circa 1930 to 1940) for $5,000 in January of 2005.
Hart Galleries in Houston, Texas sold a traditionally-styled, rosewood cased Brambach Baby Grand Piano and bench for $1,200 in July of 2004, another traditionally-styled, rosewood cased Brambach Baby Grand Piano and bench for $1,100 in June of 2005, and another traditionally-styled, rosewood cased Brambach Baby Grand Piano and bench for $1,000 in October of 2004.
New Orleans Auction, St. Charles Gallery, Inc. in New Orleans, Louisiana sold a mahogany Brambach Baby Grand Piano and bench (circa 1920s) for $1,600 in April of 2006.
Doyle New York in New York sold a mahogany Brambach Baby Grand Piano and bench for $175 in March of 2006.
Capo Auction in Long Island City, New York sold a mahogany Brambach Baby Grand Piano for $50 in May of 2011.
