A Small Piece Of History
A Small Piece of History is a British based company specialising in historical hair and other unique pieces of history.
The company is one of few that specialises in historical hair. Among its inventory it lists hair from the heads of Justin Bieber, Elizabeth Taylor, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy, Charles Dickens and Lord Horatio Nelson.
A Small Piece of History also hold the Michael Jackson hair that was retrieved by the executive producer of the Pepsi advert, following the accident on the infamous commercial in 1984.
In 2011 the company announced it had acquired the largest collection of Justin Bieber hair, following his much publicised haircut. The hair had been donated by Bieber to his favourite charity, Pencils of Promise. It's believed the hair was acquired in return for a sizeable donation that was to be used to build a new school and increase educational opportunities in the developing world.
