1999 DRC assortment expected to bring $54,500 to Sotheby's

Sotheby's wine auction features two 1999 DRC assortments from a "spectacular private collection"

Sotheby's January 30 auction of Finest and Rarest Wines featuring a Spectacular Private Collection will be highlighted by two assortments of 1999 vintages from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (DRC).

Each assortment is valued at 26,000-34,000 ($41,500-54,500) and contains 12 bottles. They are currently being stored at the Octavian Vaults in Wiltshire, ensuring that the bottles will have been kept in premium conditions until their sale in London.

Both assortments contain one bottle of the illustrious Romanee-Conti, three bottles of La Tache,two bottles of Richebourg, and a further twoeach from Romanee Saint Vivant, Grand Echezeaux and Echezeaux.
