1950 Packard Victoria classic car could drive a hard bargain in Washington

The beautiful, restored Super Deluxe motor could move collectors to action, this coming weekend

US Asset Forfeiture and Seizures will be offering over 550 lots of collectibles this weekend, including coins and jewellery (which we may have a look at shortly). However, one lot which classic car collectors are likely to be particularly interested in: a 1950 Packard Victoria Super Deluxe.

One of only 614 super deluxe convertibles built for the class of 1950, it is documented as having driven 57,000 original miles.

The vehicle has had a high quality restoration with a professional repaint. Chrome has been removed and the whole refurbished including a near perfect pelican hood ornament. New rubbers with mouldings have been brought in, alongside a new wiring harness.

Powered by a Packard 327 cid straight 8 engine with new radiator and water pump, the driver will find ultra-matic drive transmission and power windows - there are all new window cylinders as well as a new top cylinder.
