1948 Veritas RS racing car will headline Coys' Nurburgring auction

The 1948 Veritas RS has a strong racing pedigree and has been expertly restored

A 1948 Veritas RS racing car is to headline Coys' August 9 sale at the Nurburgring in Nurburg, Germany with a $535,412-669,265 estimate.

1948 VeritasVeritas ceased production in the early 1950s

Veritas was established in West Germany in the aftermath of the second world war and initially upgraded BMWs for racing before manufacturing its own models.

Thelot is one of very few surviving examples. It was recently fully restored and has since competed in a number of races and rallies across Europe.
