Heritage's recent US coin auction amassed an impressive $23.9m in sales
An 1870 Type Two $20 brought $345,000 as the top lot in Heritage Auctions' recent sale of US coins in Rosemont, Illinois.
Just 35 specimens of the coin were struck and only four or five are thought to be available to private investors.
The PR65 Ultra Cameo NGC, CAC item was joined at the sale by a well-preserved 1879 $4 Flowing Hair, Judd-1635, Pollock-1833, PR65 Cameo NGC, which made $195,500.

"The $4 gold patterns, or 'Stellas', are among our most popular lots," said Greg Rohan, the president of the auction house.
"Collectors are fascinated by the idea that the United States almost struck a $4 coin, going so far as to create patterns to show around the halls of Congress."
The four day event garnered a total of $23.9m.
