The show will take place in the Meiji Jingu Gaien district, and includes an 11 km-rally through Tokyo's up-market Ginza district.

A number of important vehicles will appear, including the Rolls Royce of former Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida.

It will be one of many classic cars highlighting the festival, along with some modern Toyota creations, like the Prius plug-in hybrid, a car already regarded as a design classic for its revolutionary engine technology.

Other appearances will include the 1899 De Dion-Bouton 1 3/4HP (France), the 1922 Sunbeam Grand Prix (UK) and the 1939 Packard Twelve (USA).

The main venue will be the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, including displays of automobile paraphernalia and attractions for children. Admission is free.
