- Robert Burns's Bible
Few things are more Christmassy than Auld Lang Syne. In 1796, the carol's author Robert Burns, Scotland's Master of Poetry, was misdiagnosed with gout and taken to Scotland's Brow Well mineral spring, where died four days later. This Bible was his last comfort: an outstanding relic of Scottish heritage.

Here are some Christmas lights with a difference. Israeli/French artist Levy's light features thin fluorescent light bulbs which create an abstract, fractal effect. Only 20 exist, aside from two artist's proofs and two prototypes.

- Swiss Musical Harp Watch, made for the Chinese Market circa 1810
Decorated with pearls and European-cut diamonds, this incredibly unique timepiece actually resembles a harp, with a white enamel dial and Arabic numerals. It has a functioning sound board, with gilt strings on the harp, and goes under the hammer at Christie's New York on December 15.

- Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol
This an iconic image to rival them all. Warhol's Monroe is a screenprint made in 1967, printed in colours on wove, signed in pencil and numbered 184/250. It was published by Factory Editions, New York, and will go under the hammer at Bonhams on December 15.

Some children dream of a model space ship under the Christmas tree, but how about a flight suit worn by the hero who flew Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the Moon in 1969? The personal NASA flight suit worn by Collins after his recovery from Apollo 11 has impeccable provenance.
