Military Hardware ends up on eBay
The military are pretty clear about controlling their hardware be it weapons, munitions or equipment. That's why they're not too jazzed about their roadside bomb detecting gear turning up on eBay as well as a couple of other online market places according to The Intercept.
Most of the pieces in the report appear to be thermal optical devices and with nothing 'offensive per se' but the real issue lies with equipment going missing and then being sold to civilians, which is in breach of some particularly precise laws.
