The Partially Printed Document, Completed In Type, Is A Combat Report (Headed Combats In The Air) Completed By Maclaren Following One Of His Confirmed Victories In A Sopwith Camel South Of Armentieres, The Narrative Stating, In Part, €˜At 10.00 Am A 2 Seater Rumpler Was Seen Passing W. Over The Aerodrome….Capt. Maclaren Went Up And Got Height Over The Lines, And At About 11.15 Am He Saw The 2 Seater Crossing The Lines By Armentieres. Capt Maclaren Was Then Too Far N. Of Him To Attack. While Chasing This E.A. Capt. Maclaren Saw 7 Pfalz Scouts Crossing The Lines….He Joined A Patrol….And Attacked One Of The E.A. Which Was About 2,000 Ft. Below The Others. Capt. Maclaren Dived On This E.A. Firing 100 Rounds At 50 Yards Range. E.A.
