Lot 325: Revolutionary War–dated manuscript DS, signed "O. Ellsworth," one page, 8.5 x 13, October 30, 1776. Pay order issued to Treasurer John Lawrence, in part: "Please to pay into the Hands of Capt'n John Deshon the following sum—viz. £50…towards the Expence of marching to New York the Regiment of Militia under his Command—£22.12.11 for John Bolles…for the Arms of the Troops in the Service of the States…£175.6.10 for Javez Huntington…for sundries supplied & services procured." Expected document wear and small edge separations to horizontal folds, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned engraving.
