This is a detail from Lion armor that was possibly made for King Henri II of France. It's housed in the Royal Armories in Leeds, England. As with most royal armor I doubt it was ever worn into battle, not surprising considering what it probably cost to make. The detailing is so intricate. I suppose it's out of the question to ever expect a replica of that helm to be made.
