Hello and I'm not aware that Christopher Mitchell is even a member of the Pennsylvania Antique Gun Collectors Association , I`v been the President of this club for almost 10 years and have never meet him or our Membership Secretary has no record, so i don't think he should be using our name as a well established club and I'm not aware of his expertise in this field of antiques or collectable arms . This site seems to cut messages short. I would like to join forces to bring this thief in: He stole quite a lot from me as a recently widowed senior.

Christopher Mitchell stole quite a number of very valuable antique swords from me soon after my late husband passed away. I trusted him because I thought his Antiques Roadshow appearances legitimized him. However, he took items worth a great deal of money. I'm certain their value was in the 6 figures - though I may never be sure because I trusted him to appraise them correctly. He came into my home, "evaluated" my items and took them away guaranteeing he would sell them for top dollar on my beha

Christopher Mitchell was arrested in Baldwin Co. Al on Wednesday 10/17/17 on numerous theft charges using his appearances on the Antiques Roadshow to legitimize his claim to be a professional appraiser. In fact he is a professional thief, nothing more. It’s been over 3 years to get him behind bars. Justice
may be slow but it is sure!

In 2014, James Christopher Mitchell stole an item from me that is worth at least $16,000. He is under felony criminal indictment in Alabama as of 2016, he lost a civil suit in absentia in Arkansas and I have filed a civil suit against him. I know of at least four other victims whom he has stolen from. If you are interested in collaborating to find, sue and bring Mr. Mitchell to justice, please contact me. This website isn't the best, so if my email address is not evident, please post yours and I

Mr. Mitchell is absolutely a thief. He has stolen dozens of firearms from my father, who trusted him with his property. The excuses are never ending, criminal, and unethical. feel free to contact me for more information about this person to avoid it happening to others.

I have the same problem with him. Met him on roadshow gave him my item for further appraisal and now refuses to give it back. 1 1/2 years of rediculous excuses. How many people has he done this to?

Mr Mitchell has had an item of mine for nearly two year. Wont return ot. Won't pay for its sale. Antiques Roadshow has scrubbed him from their site. Is he a theif?
