A Very Large Campo del Cielo Meteorite
A 15 inch wide chunk of the Campo del Cielo meteorite has come up for auction at Christie's with a high estimate of £15,000. Originally found in Gran Chaco Gualamba, Argentina, the piece of meteorite is astonishingly large for any meteor fragment! This big lump of space joy is at auction on the 3rd of September.
