Lot 754: Boer War. Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, four clasps, Natal, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1902 (3825 Pte G. White, Glouc. Regt), edge bruising therefore good very fine, with copied paperwork. 3825 Private George White, born in Rumney, Glamorgan 1874, enlisted with the regiment at Bristol 1892, served in the Boer War from 1899-1900, taken prisoner of war at Farquhar's Farm 30.10.1899,served in St Helena from 1900-02 and the Boer War in 1902, with interesting history of a trial, discharged 1905 after 18 years 1 month with the Colours.
