Lot 736: Boer War & WWI. A group to Private G.B. Williams, Gloucestershire Regiment, Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, two clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (5912 Pte G. Williams, Gloucester Regt), 1914 Star and rosette, this loose on riband (5912 Pte G.B. Williams. 1/Glouc: R.), King's South Africa, two clasps (5912 Pte G. Williams. Glouc: Regt). Victory and British War Medals (5912 Pte. G.B. Williams. Glouc. R.), very fine and better, mounted for wearing in this order, with copied paperwork, plus a WWII pair. 5912 Private George Benjamin Williams born in St Peter's, Cheltenham, enlisted in with the regiment in Bristol, served during the Boer War from 1900-02.
