The highlight of Bonhams upcoming Military Medals auction is undoubtedly this set of 10 medals presented to Group Captain B.Drake, who served in the Royal Air Force. The 10 include: a 1939-1945 Star with Battle of Britain bar; Africa Star with North Africa 1942-43 bar (later issue) and a U.S.A., Distinguished Flying Cross. In total the medals are expected to make upwards of £30,000.
