You can own Count Dracula's castle-for just $13 Million
The 14th Century home of Count Dracula has just been listed for sale-and the owners are reportedly accepting offers as low as $13.4 million.
Bran Castle in Transylvania acted as inspiration to the Irish novelist Bram Stoker when writing his classic 1897 novel 'Dracula' and attracts around 560,000 visitors each year. Stoker never actually visited the castle which was built in 1388 and was originally used as a fortress by soldiers attempting to stop the expansion of the Ottoman Empire.
The 57 bedroom (no bathroom!) castle was put on the market back in 2014 for $66 million but failed to sell.
Previous owners have complained of the castles large mosquitoes that have a fondness for biting the neck area, the odd tasting wine and the noise pollution from the 'Children of the Night.'*
