Porcelain Candlestick Japan, 1930s Auctionata Dec 6

This curious candleholder was made in Japan in the 1930s. The skull and book are richly decorated with enamel paint and on top of the elaborate design towers a brass spout with relief decoration. The piece is in good condition with merely minor traces of age and wear and with a €100 starting price, is set to go to auction at Auctionata on the 6th of December.
