Took me a minute to work this one out, but the artist behind Mulberry Street Unicorn, Theodor Seuss Geisel is also none other than the famed children's author Dr Seuss, which explains the eyes and general expression. It doesn't explain quite why it's a smiling unicorn thing, but I guess it's Dr Seuss, so no explanation is needed. The Bonhams auction ends on the 4th of June and they expect this mounted head to sell for at least £40,000.
