Lot 268: Inquest Reports. A manuscript volume of reports of inquests held at Guildhall, Doncaster, 1859-1872, 541 inquest reports on approximately 250 leaves, written in various hands, each giving a detailed account from various people connected to the demise of the deceased in each case, for example surgeons, family members, neighbours, etc., with 70pp. at rear with monetary accounts titled 'An Abstract of Inquisitions' for the Borough of Doncaster, original half sheep, worn, lacking spine and corners showing, thick 4to.
