CIA-funded Osama Bin Laden doll at auction
You know how every now and again you come across something that changes your world view ever so slightly? This could be one of those things. Made by Donald Levine (of G.I. Joe fame) for the C.I.A. in 2005.
The idea behind the doll was intended to be distributed in Arab countries, with the Darth Maul-like demon face intended to scare children away from extremist groups later in life.
Three of the dolls were made: this one and two that are either in the Pentagon or at the C.I.A.'s headquarters. Nate D Sanders are opening the bidding for this bizarre doll at $2,500.
