Britain's most haunted house seeks brave new buyer
The 'most haunted house in Britain' is on the market again after it's owner claimed she has had enough of being tormented by the ghost of a satanic goat and other ghouls.
The Essex based haunted house is known as 'The Cage' and was formally a medieval prison which once hosted a witch hunt where eight women lost their lives.
When owner Vanessa Mitchell bought the house for £148,000 in 2004 she was unaware of the ghostly goings on but wondered why it kept hitting the market again every 6 months.
Since buying the creepy cottage Mitchell has said that a spirit pushed her over while she was heavily pregnant, that she has seen blood splattered on the floor and that she was given a 'hard smack on the backside' whilst brushing her teeth one morning. The final straw came when she saw a tall dark figure stood between herself and her sons cot on CCTV footage, which she believes was a satanic goat.
Mitchell is now searching for a brave new buyer for the property, which is based in St Osyth, Essex.
