The Aladdin Six Million Dollar Man lunchbox is a vintage lunchbox based on the 1970s U.S television series The Six Million Dollar Man.

The lunch box was produced by the American company Aladdin Industries in two different versions – one in 1974 and another in 1978. The show itself starred Lee Majors as Steve Austin, an astronaut whose body is rebuilt using bionic implants after a crash and uses his new powers to work for a government agency known as the OSI.

The versions of the lunchbox have dark blue handles and rims, with different designs on each. The 1974 version features a close up of Austin’s face on the front, surrounded by depictions of him outrunning a horse, jumping over a car, uprooting a tree and bending a railroad track. The reverse shows him battling enemies using a tree trunk.

The 1978 version has an image of Austin punching through a sheet of metal on the front, as if bursting through the box itself, with the reverse showing him catching a large boulder during a rock fall. The side features an image of Austin fighting against Bigfoot.

Each of the box’s matching thermos flasks has a black lid/cup, with close-up illustrations of Austin and other characters.

How much is an Aladdin Six Million Dollar Man lunchbox worth?

Average prices for both versions of the box are similar on auction sites such as eBay. Boxes in good or mint condition complete with their thermos flasks can sell for between $30 - $50, although exceptional examples have occasionally sold for more than $150.
