Fine Jewelry sale realizes $9 Million at Heritage
A spectacular three day fine Jewelry sale at Heritage Auction has realised $9 Million in total-with one fancy light pink diamond ring by Chopard hammering for just over half a million dollars.
The gold ring features a 5 carat heart shaped diamond center that is surrounded by a row of full cut diamonds. It was one of the top selling lots with a hammer price of $605,000. Another piece by Chopard, this time a 6 carat fancy cut pink diamond bracelet, also sold well at the auction with a high hammer price of $485,000.
In total fine Jewelry made up for around $5 Million of the auction total-with with approximately $3.8 million of the sales coming from rare designer handbags.
