The 6.04-carat, emerald cut, fancy vivid blue diamond is flanked either side by an emerald-cut diamond. It is mounted in platinum.
The item was sold by Sotheby’s on Monday October 8th 2007 at an auction in Hong Kong for HKD$61,927,50 to an unknown bidder. At the time of the sale, it was the most expensive item of jewellery ever auctioned. The diamond had been owned by an Asian private collector.
