16.57 carat tanzanite ring could make
A 16.75 carat pear cut tanzanite ring is valued at £38,000-42,000 ahead of a sale at John Pye Auctions.
The lot will cross the block as part of a major collection of gemstones in Derby on November 13.

“The rising values of coloured gemstones are now outstripping those of diamonds as royals and celebrities alike, including the Duchess of Cambridge, highlight their appeal and have raised their highly prized profile.
“Auction rooms across the globe are seeing record-breaking sales and we are expecting substantial interest from international buyers.”
