Lot 561: Three copper engraved cotton textiles, early 19th c., to include a handkerchief depicting the Declaration of Independence, related Revolutionary vignettes, and busts of Washington, Adams, and Jefferson, 31'' x 26'', early French toile fabric, 73'' x 44 1/2'' at widest, and fabric depicting George Washington in an allegorical scene with Liberty, natives, and a banner reading Where Liberty Dwells There Is My Country, 37'' x 29 1/2''. Condition: Handkerchief- scattered losses, repairs, light staining. French - staining, light wear consistent with age, panels sew together. Washington - two pieces sewn together, losses, staining.
