Copenhagen street lamps to auction
The City of Copenhagen is to auction some 7,000 of its iconic hanging streetlamps as the Danish capital begins replacing them with more energy efficient versions.
The lamps have hung over the capital since the end of the 1970's and will be sold through auction house Lauritz.
All of the lamps will likely be gone by the end of 2015 as the city aims to become 'carbon neutral' by 2025.
