Vintage Paul Evans Furniture is original furniture produced by the American designer Paul Evans.

Brief history and description

Paul Evans was a famous furniture designer from Pennsylvania whose unique and influential furniture designs made him a household name during the 1950s.

Evans started his career by building copper chests with decorative doors as well as steel-front cabinets that featured a unique style of welding. His "Cityscape" series proved to be his most popular and well-recognized lines. It consisted of chrome dining tables, 12-door dressers, chrome lounge chairs and ottomans, cubes, and much more.

Guide for collectors

Any furniture designs from Evans' "Cityscape" series is considered to be the most valuable and rare among collectors. The majority of custom Paul Evans furniture items were once autographed by Evans, thus obtaining one of his signed furniture items is considered to be valuable, but not necessarily rare.

Restoration of a Paul Evans furniture item is recommended, but only if there is noticeable damage. However, restoring a Paul Evans furniture item may decrease its value.
