50 re-imagined Eames chairs to auction for charity
50 modern variations of the famous classic mid-century 'Eames DKR Chair' have been produced by some of the world's most famous creatives for a charity auction.
Vitra Design Museum and arts organisation La Source have teamed up to auction 50 custom variations of the famous chair which was originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1951.
Stylist Christian Louboutin, artist Ara Starck and interior designer Sarah Lavoine are among the big names that have offered their creative services to the cause.
The auction is due to take place on the 14th of December at the Hôtel de l’Industrie in Paris.
