1972 'Contour' corrugated cardboard chair
Not only is the design of the 'contour' chair interesting, but its construction is fairly unique too: in case you haven't figured out what the material is, let me fill you in: cardboard. Tadaa. Interestingly, the cardboard chair has been made in such a way that it actually looks quite rigid and indeed comfortable in this form, though hopefully it won't give off any paper cuts.
Considering the chair was put together in 1972 it seems to have kept together well, in spite of its cardboard composure, presumably it's been kept away from any signs of moisture or... er... use. Could it work as a liveable piece of furniture in your home though? There's only one way to find out.
Estimated value is $2,000-3,000 but be advised; sitting on empty cornflakes boxes won't yield the same results if you're looking to save a bit of money.
