1775 Rosewood Inlaid Chest at Auction

This chest boasts inlaid rosewood, kingwood, amaranth and holly which combined have a stunning effect in this incredibly beautiful and ornate chest. From the Louie XVI Transitional period, circa 1775 and stamped by Mathieu-Guiallaume Cramer. The chest was formerly part of the Imperial Russian collection. The Christie's Auction, which is taking place on the 29th of April in Paris has set the estimate at €100,000-€150,000.
