Cast Iron Skull/Skeleton Moneybox
Cast Iron Skull/Skeleton Articulated Moneybox
We've take a look again at one of our favorite "morbid" items - our cast iron skull/skeleton moneybox.
The moneybox is articulated - which means that the skeleton's arm moves. So this is what you do to put a coin in this moneybox - you place your coin in the skeleton's hand, when you raise the hand to the skull's mouth, it opens and the coin is deposited inside. You can see a video of how this articulated moneybox works here.
As the coin enters the mouth, the skull's eyes roll in appreciation, which is a lovely touch!
When it comes time to spend them, you can retrieve your coins from the moneybox via a removable bottom, which is secured with a screw.
You can take a look at this moneybox, together with other styles that we stock, in our cast iron moneybox section on our website.
