Ferrari 250 GTO testing jig at auction

A jig used to test the aluminium panels for the Ferrari 250 GTO is up for auction at Aguttes in France- really it's amazing that such a thing was kept for all of these years, especially as Scaglietti's workshop was notoriously spartan and 'botch-job-like'.

Presumably the jig was set up so that the panels could be placed to test their fit after they had been hand-beaten to ensure there were no glaring panel gaps (or at least none too glaring to appear on an Italian built car of the day.)

Estimated value is €100,000-150,000 which strikes me as being staggeringly low for a one of a kind piece  that was integral to building one of the most famous cars in the world.
