World's largest collection of haute couture Barbie's to exhibit in Montreal
A new exhibition is set to be the largest permanent exhibition of haute couture Barbie dolls in the world when it comes to Montreal's Les Cours Mont-Royal.
'Barbie Expo' will showcase over 1,000 high fashion versions of Barbie dressed by big name designers such as Versace, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and Giorgio Armani and dressed in homage to some of the biggest fashion icons of all time including Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.
The dolls have been gathered from private collections and donations-though some have even been made specifically for the show.
The exhibition opens this Thursday and is free to the public.
