Lot 1146: Winnie the Pooh and Friends production merchandising cel with matching drawing
Lot 1146: (Walt Disney Studios, 1980s) Original production merchandising cel with matching drawing designed for a child's picture frame, featuring Winnie the Pooh and several of his friends—Tigger, Owl, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and Christopher Robin. Character sizes range from 1.25 x 3 to 8 x 6, with overall dimensions of 13.5 x 16.5. The matching drawing is accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 15.5 x 19.75 animation paper. The cel is in fine condition, with trivial creasing and soiling, and unobtrusive peeling to paint to reverse of upper corners; the drawing is in very good condition, with tape-repaired tears and creasing along right edge and a tear to body affecting the rocks in the lower left.
