Very fine vertical pair of perforated essays printed by Harrison & Sons on 'Harrison' script gummed watermarked paper, mounted on a small piece of cream card. Printed in red using the profile medal head design (Type G) from a photograph by W.D. Downey.
A very attractive and rare unadopted essay. This series of essays are presently unlisted but are to be included in the next GB Specialised Volume 2 Catalogue.
