The magnificent "Amon Carter" Flowing Hair Silver Dollar broke records back in 2013 when it was bought by a private collector for $10 million and it's now gone on display in London.

Many believe that this very coin may well be the first dollar ever struck and if it is, George Washington himself would have personally inspected it. What is known for certain is that this coin was one of just 1,758 struck on 15 October 1794 in the early days of the Philadelphia Mint of which only 134 examples survive today.

Now numismatists will have the chance to see one in the flesh as the Flowing Hair Silver Dollar heads to the London Mint Office. If you'd like to see the coin you had better be quick though-as it is only on display in London from the 18th-20th of March!
