"The Clock"
Hand soldered using components similar to that found in a digital watch, "The Clock" has been three years in the making from Gislain Benoit. The artist is as talented with a soldering iron as he is with creative: if you look at his other work on his site you'll find some wonderful pieces, such as the tower which looks like a warp core.
The Clock measures time through North America's 60Hz alternating current- far from the most reliable time keeper, but undoubtedly ingenious. You can also find Benoit's signature written in wire on the piece, have fun looking for it!
