Richard Rayment Lantern Clock
Nice Victorian lantern clocks are among the most highly sought after clocks for the period and for aesthetic reasons along you can easily see why. Although they're only suitable for a collector of more vintage tastes, the clocks do sell for a reasonable price when they appear at auction, like this example hoping to fetch £350.
This dial on this particular clock has the signature for Richard Rayment, one of the best known and most important clock makers in Suffolk of that period. The clock is presented by The Auction Room, London.
