Gebruder Kuner, is not association with the trade mark (G.K.) however it's a commonly mistaken error due to the beginning letters matching not to mention Gebruder Kuner's trademark was very different. The GK tradmark in fact belongs to the firm of George Kuehl who filed for this trademark Dec. 14, 1908. Established in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he imported parts and hired many carvers from Germany. As far as rarity, they can be frequently seen with exception of a few of the original catalog examples that were more expensive.
