2-tonne novelty clock sold at auction
These backwards novelty clocks are all very good and entertaining until someone actually tries to read the time off of one, at which point it immediately loses its advantage over a standard clock. This particular one has some added novelty value simply by being 2 tonnes in weight and probably the best part of 20 feet tall.
This clock sold at auction for a quite reasonable £1,750 considering the size, and had until ewcently adorned the Tobar warehouse in Ellough, whose biggest sellers included regular sized reverse clocks. It took me a minute to notice but there's a dummy workman on top of the clock to help demonstrate its immense size, which was also included in the auction.
