Qingbai Carved 'Boys' Meiping at Auction
Heading to auction in September is this incredibly rare Qingbai carved Meiping from the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). Sotheby's have placed an estimate of $2.5-3 million on the vessel. Carved into the Qinbai (a trademark material of the Song Dynasty) are depictions of boys, which become the Meiping's distinguishing features.
