Lot 122: An 18th Century Chinese Blue and White Longevity Vase: the bulbous body finely decorated with a motif of a bird perching on a flowering peony branch and a motif of deer and crane by a pine tree, accompanied by peonies and lingzhi, all between a ruyi border at the top and a lappets border at the bottom. The shoulders decorated with two bands of delicately flowing motifs of flowers (including chrysanthemums) with leafy scrolls and foamy waves respectively. The long tubular and slightly flaring neck further embellished with bats amidst clouds between stiff leaves at the top and a key-fret band at the bottom. With pale iron red details throughout and on a white ground with a hint of blue H 45cm
